Google StreetView may reduce builders’ fraud in Nigeria

The recent introduction of Google StreetView which allows viewing 360-degree images of streets in Lagos, Nigeria will allow Nigerians in the Diaspora to view houses that are being built for them back home.
Hitherto, Nigerians in the Diaspora have fallen victims to lots of phony builders who defraud them under the guise of building properties for them in Nigeria.
Some of the fly-by-night builders take pictures of a different building to deceive clients to.
With Google StreetView, you can see 360 views of the house and street.
The StreetView is now available in major areas of Lagos and Google is looking forward to making the feature available across the country soon.
Also, thousands of new addresses have been added to Maps to improve address search experience for users.
Detailed outlines of buildings, both residential and commercial, have also been added to Maps of Nigeria so users can get details as close to the real deal as possible.
More than 100,000 new small and medium-scale businesses have also been added to Maps to improve your experience and the quality of Google Maps.
