Millicent, Audrey, and Cleo were born and raised in Zimbabwe. A few years ago, they came to Germany as Au-Pairs. After their Au-Pair year, they have all taken three different paths: Millicent is training as a geriatric nurse, Audrey works as a Research Associate at the University of Düsseldorf and Cleo is doing her Master’s degree. “Kuk-MA,” tells their stories and shows why these women came to Germany, what keeps them here and what their everyday life looks like.
