THE GUPTA FAMILY FACES JUSTICE IN SOUTH AFRICA

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has blamed corrupt practices for the country’s economic problems. Since taking office earlier this year, he has been a man on a mission – determined to put a stop to “state capture”. Former president Jacob Zuma and his son’s close links to the Indian-born Gupta brothers – who bagged billions in contracts and business from state-owned enterprises – are at the centre of the saga. Today, the Guptas are no longer untouchable. France24 correspondents report.
