Papa’s Vinyl is the Guitar Track from Akinwale’s anticipated album entitled Alafia (Peace), Featuring one of the most celebrated Africa’s finest guitarist “The multi awards winning musician/artiste Kunle Ayo. #AlafiaTheAlbum Akinwale!

Akinwale, with many of his peers calling him the New Age Jimi Hendrix. Born in Nigeria, and now residing in South Africa, Akinwale is here to serve local audiences with a distinct, unique and universal sound. Akinwale has amazing guitar skills, coupled with his magical voice, he is a marvel to watch and listen to. Akinwale’s 1st performance was at All Season Plaza in Lagos, Nigeria, where his guitar skills mesmerized the audience, leaving them wanting for more. From then it has been a journey that saw him perform at the 2011 Benin Republic Jazz-Afrique Festival, Easter Ecstasy in Madagascar, Johannesburg Theatre, Savoy Theatre and the Guild theatre in Port Elizabeth, Niki’s Oasis, Joy of Jazz and Oktoberfest in Pretoria to name a few. As a result, he performed alongside South Africa’s finest such as Mam Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Jimmy Dludlu, and Thandiswa Mazwai.
