Ayo Solanke says preparation is key to success

Top Nigerian saxophonist and music producer, Ayo Solanke says adequate preparation form the bedrock of his career success.

Speaking on Rainbow FM recently in Johannesburg, he says aspiring artists should invest time in practice if they want to excel.

His last DVD recording in Johannesburg was a huge success though he was skeptical at the planing stage.

Only nine tickets were sold few days to the event but the hall was packed on the day of the event.

The highlight of the evening at the DVD recording was the song “God of Wonders”.

According to him: “some of the camera guys lost their stand”, as the awe of God fell on all.

Solanke is thankful to God for blessing with the gift of song writing: a gift he coveted but struggled to get at the start.

He can boast of myriad of songs, courtesy of unstoppable divine inspiration.
