Ayo Solanke announces live recording –  The Journey Still Live

Johannesburg, South Africa, July 1, 2017 – It is the beautiful winter season, but one of the nations top saxophonist, performer, and songwriter Ayo Solanke have decided to make this 2017 winter season a memorable and extra special one with the Live Recording of his project, The Journey Still Live At The Fringe At Joburg Theatre on the 1st of July 2017.

This first ever Evening with the award-winning virtuoso saxophonist Ayo Solanke will be showcasing his versatility and wide reach, which enables him to bring together people of different cultures and background for a time of refreshing and impartation in God’s presence.

Ayo Solanke appeared on the Gospel According to Jazz Chapter IV live DVD with the legendary Kirk Whalum of USA; He was also the sound heard on “Yebolinamandla” as seen on the “Renewal In His Presence” DVD with Bishop Benjamin Dube. He has worked in the background with the likes of Bro Hugh Masakela, Stimela, Judith Sephuma and Jimmy Dludlu just to mention a few but now he is set out to make an impact this winter by drawing on all the influences from his decades of experience in the industry which will be experienced in His Live Recording.

The man known for the success of his “Joko Ya Hao Amen Halleluyah”  single will also be joined by other known gospel musicians and artists on the evening to raise an altar of worship onto the Most high God.

Local musos Verona Pillay , Just 6 and Voices Of Heaven (VH) will also be part of the supporting acts sharing the stage with Ayo Solanke at The Fringe At Joburg Theatre that night.

Commenting on his Live DVD recording, Ayo Solanke said:
“It is an honor to have the privilege of serving God and humanity with our gift and I love The Fringe At Joburg Theatre venue because of it’s intimate set up. So 1st July will be amazing and we are expecting everyone to come with their friends and family to experience a wonderful and unforgettable night”.
