CAN THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE NIGERIAN ELECTIONS BE JUSTIFIED?

David O’Sullivan from KayaFM speaks to Adetunji Omotola from Nigeria regarding the postponed elections in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Independent National Electoral Commission postponed the elections just hours before they were supposed to commence.

The presidential and parliamentary polls will now be held on 23 February.

Elections for governorship and states houses of assembly were shifted to March 9.
