Facebook rant breaks 8-year marriage!

Facebook rant breaks 8-year marriage!

Facebook is one of the most effective social media tools but a wife has been sent packing for posting on Facebook.

The controversial post from a woman in Ibadan, Nigeria reads: “Look at the only thing I ate yesterday. I thought marriage was a luxury”. This post came with the picture of a plate of small rice with not meat.

As usual, many idle hands on Facebook became marriage counselors overnight. The woman was besieged with a sea of tips and advice.

One comment went further to talk about the woman’s furniture and curtain. The furniture and curtain appeared in the picture posted.

The husband was taken to the cleaners by the horrible comments. He was alerted by a friend and compelled his wife to pull down the post.

The Same day, he asked his wife of 8 years to leave for disgracing him globally.

Ignorantly, the wife did not know that Facebook is a global platform. She thought she was only talking to a few friends.

Husband fumed: “It is not the number or kind of comments that matters, but why would issue in our marriage be made a public issue. When I gave her plenty money, she didn’t post about that”.

Evil sympathizers who heard about the man’s action shared the news on Facebook again and the conflict got worse.

As at press time, all efforts to save the marriage is abortive.
