JOBURG MAN VANDALISES CAR, PUNCHES ELDERLY DRIVER

JOHANNESBURG – A road rage incident in Joburg in which an enraged man is seen vandalising a car and appearing to punch the elderly driver has sparked outrage.

It’s believed the assault – which was captured on video – happened after a minor accident in Alexandra.

Facebook users tracked down the man who allegedly kicked and vandalised the vehicle by using the company logo on the T-shirt he is wearing in the video.

Users identified the company as South African Automotive Supplies and the alleged suspect is the company director Lance O’Leary.

When contacted by EWN, O’Leary refused to comment, saying the media twisted the story to make him look like the offender.

“You want to try and twist the story so I’d rather not say anything. We’ll try it out in court, end of story.”

Police say a case is yet to be opened.
