MAYFAIR MAN KILLED IN ATTEMPTED HIJACKING

JOHANNESBURG – A man has been killed in an attempted hijacking in Mayfair in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

It’s alleged that the man was on his way to prayers when he was accosted by a group of armed men.

The trio shot the man and fled the scene without any valuables.

The police’s Lungelo Dlamini: “Police are investigating an attempted hijacking and murder. This happened in the early hours of this morning when a 36-year-old man was reversing from his driveway. He was attacked by a gang of three suspects. He died on the scene.”
