Nigerians Are Big Spenders – Gayton McKenzie

South African business man and leading motivational speaker Gayton Mckenzie says Nigerians are among the topmost big spenders in Africa.

The streetwise business man became exposed to the potency of the purchasing power of Nigerians when he opened the Rivonia On Deck restaurant in Rivonia, Sandton.

He opined: “I had to include Nigerian dishes on our menu because I see Nigerians are generous spenders. Our turnover increased when more Nigerians started patronising us”.

The inclusion of Nigerian dishes on the menu list at Rivonia on deck attracted more Nigerians to the upmarket restaurant and Gayton has no regrets tapping into the largest market in Africa.

Gayton has more plans to explore the Nigerian market in South Africa and Nigeria. He is currently talking to some Nigerian business men on how to deal in more Nigerian products and services.

He affirms that there are more opportunities within Africa than outside of Africa. “I wish my brothers and sisters could see the huge opportunities and benefits that are in the African market”, he passionately lamented.

Today, Rivonia On Deck has become one of the most popular rendezvous Africans and especially Nigerians.
