PREMIER MAKHURA JOINED THE ANTI-CRIME #OperationOkaeMolao IN EKURHULENI

Premier Makhura and Community Safety MEC Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane joined the anti-crime operations in Ekurhuleni area today. The anti-crime operations start at the Germiston Railway the team was also joined by immigration officers from the Department of Home Affairs.

#OperationOkaeMolao, the anti-crime operations form part of Premier’s commitment in the state of the province address to tackle crime with a focus on lawlessness, illegal trading, counterfeit goods, and drugs.

Some of the shops were abandoned after sighting the law enforcement and some of the shop owners received the inspectors well.

“We’re here to inspect if businesses are operating legally and are compliant with the country’s tax laws,” said, the Premier.
