THE MEMBERS OF ASSOCIATION OF YORUBA’S IN DIASPORA SOUTH AFRICA MEET THE NEW AMBASSADOR AT NIGERIA HOUSE IN PRETORIA

This meeting commenced by singing second part of Nigeria National Anthem.

The vice president Dr Sola Agbeniyi opened the discussion introduced by the members of AYIDSA to the new High commissioner, Ambassador Ahmed Musa Ibeto. The National Executive council, Members hall of paladin, Ayidsa Business Forum and selected members of Association of Yorubas in Diaspora South Africa (AYIDSA).

A highy successful meeting, AYIDSA shared the success of the movement with the commissioner, such as: AYIDSA health assist and Business forum and issues relating to South Africa and Nigeria bilateral relations were also discussed. The high commisioner commends AYIDSA efforts in giving her members good services and promise to always cooperate with them.

If you don’t come to me, I would have come to you, because I have heard a lot about you, ambassador exclaimed.

The high commissioner encouraged the business forum of Ayidsa to work with the high commission for better service delivery and involve the mission in investment road show as it scheduled as part of Ayidsa heritage week event in December 2017.

The new ambassador introduced members of mission to Ayidsa i.e. The high commissioner, Ministers in charge of Consular matter, Minister of Trade and investment, Immigration attach, Minister in charge of political matter, Head of chancery, head of economic matters and etc

The meeting came to an end with group pictures with the new ambassador, member of the mission and the Ayidsa representatives.

Ambassador Ibeto last appointment before coming to South Africa as Nigeria top diplomat was Deputy Governor of Niger state under last dispensation.
