TRIBUTE TO FELA KUTI WITH FEMI KOYA ON SABC MORNING LIVE

SABC Morning Live paid tribute to FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI by reflecting on his life and legacy. SABC Morning Live spoke to Richard Nwamba of African Connection and Femi Koya.

Richard describes the uniqueness, influence and relevance of Fela Kuti. Femi Koya and his nine piece band also performed the timeless hit “WATER NO GET ENEMY.

Femi Koya also spoke the new school and traditional types of Afrobeat. He said his version of afrobeat is traditional while Davido and Wizkid are the new school version of afrobeat.
