We will make Nigerians proud against Australia, says Cricket captain Okpe

Skipper of the Nigerian U19 cricket national team, Sylvester Okpe has stated that the team will give the best of their abilities against Australia today as the team is set to play her first game in their first ever world cup game at the youth level in Kimberly south Africa today.

Okpe told brila.net that, they will give their best because they knew Australia are a very good side.
However, the Nigerian side will give the best of their ability to make sure they give a very good outing at the world cup, starting from today’s game.
”Our expectations as a team is to go and compete and show the world what we have made of, do our best and if it fall into place properly, the end game will speak for its self, we know Australia are a good Cricketing country, on paper and we just want to go and give the best of our abilities and see what comes out of it, ” he stated.
