The chairman planning committee of the yearly event, Dr. Olusola Agbeniyi visited him in March 2019 to discuss and invite him to grace this year event. He made a second and follow up visit in August 2019. However, things turned sour as the xenophobic erupted in Gauteng province which is the capital province of South Africa and the venue of the event. ‘ Alaafin stool is not a pile of rubbish ‘ He teaches Core Youba values and culture among which is how to respect others regardless of ethnic, religion and race. Such a respected personality will tow in line with what he stood for ‘Says Dr. Agbeniyi when he contacted about this ugly development.
